For as long as he could remember, Tyler has been drawn to water. Growing up on the sun-drenched shores, he spent his days diving into the surf, chasing the perfect wave, and letting the saltwater weave its way into his soul. The ocean is not only a place to him—it is home. It is where he feels most alive, where the world makes sense.

 

As a teenager, Tyler picked up a job cleaning pools, a way to stay close to the water even when he was not at the beach. What started as a part-time job quickly became something more. He was fascinated by the way a perfectly balanced pool could mirror the ocean’s clarity, how a well-maintained hot tub could offer the same kind of peaceful escape as a hidden cove. Over time, he became passionate—not only with cleaning pools but with perfecting them.

 

For 11 years, Tyler worked in the industry, learning everything there was to know about pool and spa maintenance. He saw what worked and what did not. He knew homeowners wanted more than a basic service; they wanted an experience, a backyard retreat that felt like their own private oasis. That is when the idea hit him—Why not take his love for water, his deep-rooted connection to the ocean, and create a company that treated pools and hot tubs like extensions of the sea?

 

In 2025, Tidal Wave Pools was born.
